Our Little Fairytale!

I sent in the book I made with Libby's newborn photos to Somerset Memories over a year ago and it was finally published in the Spring issue! It came out April 1, 2014! I'm so excited and truly honored! I wrote the article and Libby's cute face takes up five pages! Stampington is an amazing company and Jana Holstein, The editor of Somerset Memories is awesome! You can pick up a copy at your local bookstore or big box craft store!! If you are interested, my "Life is a Circus" book and article were published in the Somerset Memories Spring 2012 issue. I'm pretty sure you can buy this issue from stampington.com still!

Finally a FaceBook

I did it! I actually have a Facebook... I'm not sure I actually like it yet? I am not on the computer that much mostly because I don't like it and I feel like I don't have time. But I guess once in a while is better than nothing. Now my sister in law is sucking me into Pinterest!!! OMG!!! Anyway...It was a good and busy long weekend!! In between a few birthday celebrations we found time to go out(no baby, thanks to Hannah) and have a few drinks with good friends! We love hanging out in downtown Chandler! Our new fave place is Vintage 95! Unbelievable atmosphere and amazing wine!! We also had fun feeding the ducks at the lake by our house. I think Libby and Layla ate more crackers than the ducks!!

Gymboree Fun!!

Wednesdays are Libby's day! We've been going to Gymboree Play and Music since she was 6 weeks old. Obviously it was more for me when she was a newborn...I had to find a way to meet other new Moms since I was starting over again! It was one of my best choices ever! I have made some really amazing people and have made a few really great friends!! Needless to say, so has Libby:) She has so much fun exploring since she started walking a few months ago...and because of that we miss most of the directed play~ who has time to sit and sing when you can climb and slide? She loves it! We both look forward to it and Daddy comes to play once in a while too!! Here is a photo of her and her BFF Layla~ or as Libby says "yah yah!!"

New Class coming soon!

I know...2 days in a row is a little extreme!! But how does that saying go? 22 days to create a habit? I'm going to put that to the test! I have so many fun things running through my mind but instead of focusing on one thing I try and work on too many things therefore I don't accomplish much or at least thats how it seems! Yes! I am working on a new class...I have been asked numerous times! And Yes! It's over the top so it's taking forever(everything got put on hold for Libby's 1st birthday party and the holidays) but you won't be disappointed! It is on the feminine side though? Perhaps I will put up a few sneak peeks soon! I found a house shaped "printers drawer" months ago at a thrift store and I have been turning it into a birdhouse!! It's close to being done and when it is I will show you! I have also been asked to post a few new photos so until tomorrow....I still can't believe my baby is 1! Haleigh is 19, Hannah is 16, and my little man(Jack) is 11!!

TIME

Okay so I am officially the worlds worst blogger! I told a few friends at lunch recently that one of my goals this year was to blog more often!! The problem for me is...yes of course I have a few excuses...Time!!! and how to share it! Between creating ART, taking care of my one-year old, 3 other kids who thank goodness are not quite as needy, and the other everyday things we all HAVE to do!! Usually my choice has something to do with art! I also wonder what in the world I could possibly have to say that anyone really wants to read about?? And Should I just get on facebook instead? Oh My Gosh how do you all have time for both?? Anyway... Here's to a new year, Being a better friend to those who are a friend to me(selfish I know), eating less sugar(which will require less baking or my husband may kill me), Pilates, getting more done each day, and more antique trips with my FUN sweet friends!! Now I will be cleaning up a dumped out box of anagrams, bingo markers and a bucket of paints! There is a path of destruction wherever she goes...BUT I blogged!!

Life is a Circus workshop

Saturdays class was so much fun thanks to a wonderful group of women/artists!! Everyone worked really hard(we barely took a lunch break) to get as far as they did on their books!! It's fun to be around people that share your love for art! Everyone was so enthusiastic to dive into a crazy project and to get messy while learning new techniques!! What a great day!! Rob and Libby did really well too. I admit I was a little stressed out about how the day would go...my first time being away from her, but everything was wonderful!!
